I want to thank you for stepping up as a young female Rotarian who's got the heart and soul to making our organisation better, your club strong. I know you are doing a fantastic job this year. And I ask you to make sure to think about the future of Rotary, because we need you. Keep climbing the ladder of Rotary. Eventually you could be standing where I am standing right now and make sure our organisation is in good hands. Thank you for everything you do.

23. februar 1905 ble Rotary grunnlagt, da Paul P. Harris og en liten gruppe forretningsmenn i Chicago startet å møtes. Ingen av dem hadde nok den fjerneste anelse om da, at 113 år senere ville flere enn 1,2 millioner rotarianere i over 35 000 klubber
